We got our hands on the new Oculus Go, standalone VR headset!

This integrated virtual reality set is a potential game changer, as it is the first affordable one with a built-in computer, no more wires!
Obviously it’s not meant to be as impressive as the Oculus Rift, or the HTC Vive, but rather provide a smooth, low-barrier intrance into VR.

Starting at just $199, it’s clear that Facebook is willing to produce high quality gear at low or negative margin to dominate the VR space.

– 5.5” 2560 x 1440 WQHD fast-switch LCD screen running at 60Hz or 72Hz
– Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Mobile VR Platform
– Integrated speakers and microphone
